NWSC offers an intensive, 13-week United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Step 1 preparation course for foreign medical graduates (FMGs). Taught by qualified instructors with USMLE experience, our course provides direct instruction, individualized attention, and personalized feedback. During the structured schedule, students will focus on content refreshers and helpful hint for successful exam results. Classroom methodologies include lectures, videos, and discussion sessions as well as practice in test-taking strategies using Qbanks and mock exams. NWSC also offers a 16-week Fifth Trimester program for Caribbean medical graduates. This program includes pre-clinical training and an intensive preparation for USMLE step 1 examination. Conveniently located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, the NWSC campus is in walking distance from affordable housing areas and is easily accessible to commuters from I-90, I-290, Route 53, and CTA and Pace bus services. The campus consists of two buildings comprised of 23,000 square feet, including updates classrooms, laboratories, a library, as well as a large student lounge where students may study.
