NWSC, Along with a successful transition of our region of Illinois into Phase IV of Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s Restore Illinois plan, resuming on-campus instruction is predicated upon our ability to provide adequate COVID-19 precautions for our entire community of faculty, staff and students, coupled with a comprehensive plan that aims at mitigating and containing any outbreaks on campus.
As a precaution the campus has applied fogging technology used to kill the coronavirus on hard and soft surfaces.
Classes that meet in-person will be in spaces that allow adequate social distancing between students and faculty. In addition for the health and safety of all, face coverings will be required upon entering the campus at all times along with taking temperatures prior to entering.
The campus will have hand sanitizer, disinfectant and extra masks in all classrooms. Some areas of the campus have been posted closed as well as one direction pathways marked.
