NWSC is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE). The allied health programs are approved by the IBHE Private Business and Vocational Schools Division.
NWSC is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).The College is also an approved testing site for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for each of its applicable allied programs.
The MRI Technologist Program is recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
